Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

1. Prohibited Activities

You may not use the Bot to engage in any illegal, abusive, or unethical behavior, including but not limited to:

• Sharing, distributing, or promoting illegal, pirated, or copyrighted content without authorization
• Harassing, threatening, bullying, or discriminating against others
• Spamming commands, messages, or interactions that disrupt normal server activity
• Attempting to exploit, abuse, reverse engineer, or interfere with the Bot's functionality
• Using automation, scripts, or self-bots to interact with Artemis in unintended ways
• Sharing sensitive, personal, or confidential information without proper consent
• Engaging in any activity that violates Discord's Community Guidelines or Terms of Service

2. Responsible Use

You are responsible for your use of the Bot and must use it respectfully and appropriately. You agree not to:

• Share inappropriate, offensive, or harmful content through the Bot
• Impersonate any person, organization, or entity
• Use the Bot in a way that harms its reputation, the Server, or other users
• Abuse commands or features in a way that negatively impacts performance, stability, or user experience
• Attempt to bypass restrictions, cooldowns, or safeguards built into the Bot

Excessive or abusive usage may result in automatic rate limiting, temporary restrictions, or permanent loss of access.

3. Data & Privacy

By using the Bot, you acknowledge and agree that:

• The Bot may collect and store limited data such as user IDs, server IDs, command usage, and logs for functionality, moderation, and debugging purposes
• This data is used to improve performance, maintain stability, and enforce this AUP
• There is no guarantee of data permanence, availability, or deletion unless explicitly stated

You should not use the Bot to transmit sensitive or private information.

4. Third-Party Services

The Bot may integrate with or rely on third-party services. We are not responsible for:

• Downtime, errors, or failures caused by external services
• Data handling practices of third-party providers
• Any loss or disruption resulting from such integrations

5. Enforcement

The Bot owner and Server administrators reserve the right to enforce this AUP at their sole discretion. Enforcement actions may include, but are not limited to:

• Temporary or permanent suspension of access to the Bot
• Removal of content that violates this AUP
• Rate limiting or feature restrictions
• Reporting illegal or abusive behavior to appropriate authorities

No prior notice is required before enforcement actions are taken.

6. Service Disclaimer

The Bot is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We make no guarantees regarding:

• Uptime, availability, or reliability
• Performance or error-free operation
• Continued availability of specific features

Features may be modified, limited, or removed at any time without notice.

7. Changes to This AUP

This AUP may be updated at any time to reflect changes in the Bot, the Server, or applicable policies. Continued use of the Bot constitutes acceptance of the latest version.
